About Trace Flores

Who Is Trace Flores

Trace Flores

I love self-improvement, process improvement, creating plans and procedures to help people and businesses transform, and researching opportunities for change.  I am definitely an “information” junkie about almost everything personal or professional, but no, not political.  There are only so many hours in a day (wink).

Being interested in so many areas, you can probably imagine how busy life can be.  And how frequently I have to re-assess…

As a mom, spouse, relative, friend, volunteer, board member, consultant and business owner, I wear several hats every day.  Each choice weighs in to answer the daily question – “will this put me in or out of balance?”

Sometimes I sit and reflect.  Thinking through the common denominators across activities to make sure I’m on the right path.  New situations and experiences bring new perspectives that should be mixed in and checked for purpose and application.

Moments where I procrastinated or stalled on taking action highlight situations where perhaps my quest for the “perfect” option was given too much reign.  A constant reminder that I should make a “picky” choice and that would be good enough.

I Am Certified to Do…

whatever I decide to do.

I’ve proven that I’m really good at learning, testing and passing.  I can add some legitimate letters after my name, Trace Flores, acronym this or that.  I loved the chase to pass a test, then checking the goal off complete – done, next.

However all the studying and certifications did not enlighten me to the  purpose I am here to serve.  That life lesson comes from creating the person and building a career that will best match my unique self.

What Made Me Who I Am Today

If you see me in person, I get a very sly smile on my face when asked that question.  Events and people in my life have created who I am today.  It is the same with all of us, although some aren’t sure how to incorporate both the positive and negative to move themselves forward.

I’m very certain that being Picky or striving for Perfection is partially due to family members and upbringing.  I have not researched it to confirm, but I see similar traits in my parents as well as my children.  I’m sure many of you do as well.

Together we’ll use this interesting perspective to see how we can help each other.   I look forward to our journey together!
